My building has a porter and a managing agent. Can I still have a camera for my own flat?

Yes. A camera inside your flat covering your own front door, or on your own balcony, normally needs no approval from the block. Anything fixed to the communal exterior, the lobby or a shared corridor needs the managing agent's consent, and we supply a short description of the position and view to make that request easy. We arrange access with the porter for the visit.

Our mews house is in a conservation area. Can you fit CCTV without cables on the front?

Yes. Almost all of Knightsbridge is covered by conservation areas, but a small camera on your own house is usually permitted development unless the building is listed. We choose a compact turret in white or grey to match the render or brick and take the cable straight through the wall into a cupboard, so nothing runs along the facade. For listed houses, check with the council before we drill.

Do you fit CCTV for boutiques on Sloane Street and Brompton Road?

Yes. Our Retail Essential package at £1,399 gives four vandal-resistant 4K domes and a 2TB recorder with a till view, and the commercial site survey at £199 is credited against the installation. We plan positions for the door, the till and the stockroom, keep cable runs out of sight of customers, and photograph the finished installation for your sign-off.
